Book Chat Club is an online community platform for readers and writers to connect through book clubs, creative writing groups, and literary discussion. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and respectful space for everyone who joins.

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account or use Book Chat Club. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to terminate any account if we have reason to believe the user is under 18.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Book Chat Club cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not use another person's account without permission.

You retain ownership of everything you write and post on Book Chat Club. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the platform as part of normal operation (showing your posts in threads, on profiles, etc.). We will never sell your content or use it for advertising. You can delete your content at any time — once deleted, we will remove it from our systems within a reasonable timeframe.

Our hosts and moderators work to keep Book Chat Club safe. Content that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines may be removed. Accounts that repeatedly violate our rules may be suspended or permanently removed. We aim to be fair and transparent in all moderation decisions.

Your real name is never shown publicly — only your display name and handle are visible to other members. We collect the minimum amount of information needed to run the platform. We do not sell your personal data. Email addresses are used only for account verification, password resets, and platform notifications you can control. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Book Chat Club is currently in beta. We do our best to keep the platform running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update features, change pricing plans, or modify the platform as we grow. We will always give reasonable notice of significant changes.

You may delete your account at any time. We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

Book Chat Club is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the platform or by email. Continued use of Book Chat Club after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
